The decline in loud, rebellious experimental rock music – in my opinion – reflects the decline in mass protests and the concept of ‘righteous indignation’ that characterises the post-democratic meme, courtesy of the Tavistock Institute of Human Behaviour.

Thus the imperative of inspiring a new generation of experimental/explosive bands or musical activists (if you like) has turned into a personal crusade over the last four years or so.

So whenever I encountered extraordinary originality while on tour with KJ, I offered my services – an intensive masterclass which resulted in a classic recording.

Currently I am working with Mexican duo KLEK.
